Say It Like You Mean It

Free International Women’s Day Webinar

Monday the 9th of March 1pm

This International Women’s Day, give an hour.

Gain a stronger voice.

To mark International Women’s Day, Leadership Trust is offering a free, practical webinar designed to help women speak with greater confidence, credibility and influence at work.

Because words matter. Especially the ones we use to describe ourselves, our value, and our leadership.

WHAT’S THE GIVE?

A free, interactive one-hour webinar led by executive coach Joanna Davies.

You’ll explore how everyday language choices shape how you’re heard, trusted and taken seriously, and learn simple, intentional shifts you can use immediately.

This isn’t about fixing anything.
It’s about choosing words that work for you, not against you.

WHAT YOU’LL GAIN

By the end of the session, you’ll have:

  • Greater confidence in how you communicate your ideas and value
  • Practical language tools to strengthen authority without changing who you are
  • Increased credibility in meetings, presentations and leadership conversations
  • A clearer, more intentional leadership voice you can use straight away

WHO IT’S FOR

This session is open to everyone and particularly relevant for:

  • Senior women leaders
  • HR Directors, HR Business Partners and L&D leaders
  • Leaders who support, develop or sponsor women at work
  • Leadership Trust alumni, faculty and decision-makers

Whether you want to strengthen your own voice or better support others, this hour will give you practical insight with real impact.

Why Language Matters

Many women are socialised into language habits that unintentionally soften authority:
“I’m just checking…”
“This might be a silly question…”
“Sorry, can I just add…”

These phrases are common, and costly. Small shifts in language can change how confidence, clarity and leadership presence are perceived, without losing authenticity or warmth. This webinar shows you how.
